Create your page
Put as much information as possible on your fundraising page to make sure that your friends, family and coplleagues know what you are doing and why you chose to support Back Up. Add pictures, videos and more information on your fundraising event to encourage people to support you. Did you know fundraisers who edit their page raise an average of 60% more than those who do not?
Share and spread the word
Don't forget to tag us @backuptrust in all your social media posts so we can see them too and keep sharing your page. Get the word out that you are doing something amazing for Back Up. Keep people updated throughout your training or build up to your event by adding blog posts to your page. Make the most of this by repeatedly nudging people – lots of people intend to donate and then forget so the occasional nudge is really worthwhile.
