Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Every 4 hours, someone in the UK is permanently paralysed. I am raising money for Back Up - the charity for people affected by spinal cord injury.
My story
I will be running 10k for Back Up a charity supporting people with spinal cord injuries. On the 6th February 2023 my grandma sadly passed away, a big contribution to this was spinal stenosis causing complications. I am supporting back up as my dad was also born with spinal bifida which was untreated. He has recently been diagnosed with spinal stenosis which has caused permanent damage. It is unknown what the future holds or if surgery will be an option. However, Back Up are there to offer support to people like my dad and their families🩷
