Race the Sun

We are raising money for Back Up - the charity for people affected by spinal cord injury. 

 

For over 30 years, Back Up have helped people and their families to rebuild their independence after a spinal cord injury. Their award-winning services challenge the perceptions of what's possible and help to increase skills and confidence.

 

Back Up are here for people in their darkest hours, so they get back up to living life to the full.

The 'best' challenges are the ones we take on together. The 1st July will see a team of people support wheelchair athlete Dan Wilson to summit Helvellyn and Skiddaw, England's highest two mountains with our Race the Sun Challenge.

Dan suffeered a spinal injury a few years ago, is an ambassador for Sportability, a Guiness World Record Holder, a Wheelchair Skills Trainer and Sailer. 

With an enthusiasm for adventure, Dan is no stranger to a challenge. We can't wait to support Dan and others who have been affected by spinal injuries. Please consider donating what you can to support people and families helped through Back Up.
