Vicci's Manchester Half Marathon Fundraiser for Back Up

On Sunday 12th October I will be running Manchester half marathon and raising money for Back Up - the charity for people affected by spinal cord injury. 

I'm super-excited to be running it with my daughter Grace who is raising money for the Christie, a leading cancer charity based in Manchester.

Back Up are a charity close to my heart as they helped my partner Paul when he sustained a life-changing spinal cord injury over 30 years ago. 

 

For over 30 years, Back Up have helped people and their families to rebuild their independence after a spinal cord injury. Their award-winning services challenge the perceptions of what's possible and help to increase skills and confidence.

 

Back Up are here for people in their darkest hours, so they get back up to living life to the full.
